School Technology Day - Guest Speaker

My friend Bahar is a 2nd grade teacher and she invited me to speak to her students for the school's technology day. Before the presentation to the 1st & 2nd grade I spent an hour doing a 'show and tell' with my 3D printer in her class. The kids were so energetic, curious, and happy to learn all about 3D printing. I even let them choose a 3D print, and started printing it in class for them to see. After the class was over they got to see and keep the finished product!

I gave the presentation to the larger group alongside Pranav (ex-NCR data scientist), a mutal friend who was also invited to join in on the school tech day.

3D Print Class - Guest Speaker

My friend Megan works for Cary Academy and invited me to give a presenation to the schools 3D printing class.

These students were well versed in 3D printing basics, this allowed me to speak on more advanced topics like 3D print material science, post processing, structural integrity and 3D printing evolution. They also came up with thought provoking questions that I was eager to answer.
